What this tool does
A favicon is the small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. This generator draws a letter or emoji on a colored background and exports a 128×128 PNG you can use as your site's favicon — perfect for quick projects and prototypes.
How to use it
- Type a letter or paste an emoji, and choose colors.
- Click Download PNG and save it (e.g. as
favicon.png) in your site root. - Add the HTML link tag to your page's
<head>.
Tips
- Keep it simple — favicons are tiny, so one bold letter or emoji reads best.
- High contrast between text and background improves visibility in the tab bar.
