What this tool does
Markdown tables use pipes and dashes, which are tedious to type by hand and easy to misalign. This generator takes your CSV or tab-separated data and produces a properly formatted Markdown table you can paste into a README, GitHub issue, or documentation.
Example
The rows Name, Role / Ada, Developer become a Markdown table with a header row, a separator row of dashes, and your data.
Tips
- Copy a range directly from Excel or Google Sheets — it pastes as tab-separated, which “Auto” detects.
- Choose center or right alignment for numeric columns.
